One of the biggest Global Warming shills is the UK MET.

The MET oozes global warming boilerplate and fans the flames of hysteria whenever possible by predicting the horrors to come in an AGW world. The MET shills are, after all, "experts".

Yet, when it comes to predicting medium-term weather ... something far easier to do than predicting long term climate trends ... the MET is a bust. After all, if you can't predict general weather trends 6 months out, where you can ignore many complex decadal processes and where all processes are understood, how in the hell are you going to predict weather trends into the distant future where you don't understand all the processes that effect climate.

You know, I always had issues with Greenpeace and other extreme environmental groups because their actions made all environmentalists look like wackos. Instead of the people who were polluting being shown in a bad light, the groups and environmentalism as a whole were the negative focus.
