The whole CO2 cap and trade bullshit is political and not based on anything that could be considered to be sound science. It's a way to impose a tax on businesses that are successful.

I am all about being green and saving resources but when the government does such a passive-aggressive stunt like this, I cannot help but see that all they are for is their own Benjamin's — this is not about “Saving the Earth”, the Earth is just fine. It's about entrenched power and the Cultural Marxism that is creeping out of academia and into our current lives.
