17 February 2009 - Following her reference to Aucklanders being been hit last week by a record 32.4 degrees centigrade heat wave which she said were equalled only by one day in 1872, Green Party co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons has been asked to reveal the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in 1872. The call comes from Terry Dunleavy, secretary of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition.
