The issue of man-made climate change is the pace of the change. Natural climate change has the earth in a warming cycle during the 20th and 21st century. Since the inception of the industrial revolution, the rate of increase in the earth’s temperature greatly exceeds the expected natural change – this accelerating rate of change is directly attributable to the man-made transformation of terrestrial carbon into atmospheric carbon, primarily through the burning of fossil fuels.
