New BBC/Harris poll of 2,848 adults confirms: Americans don't give a rodent's posterior about global warming

Note that global warming is not even mentioned in Table 1 of this document [PDF]:

While Americans in general don't care about global warming, note that the pollsters still cared enough to ask a specific question about it
A slender 52% majority of all adults thinks that President Obama will be more successful than the Bush administration in addressing climate change and only 10% think he will be less successful. However, fully 38% think he will be neither more nor less successful, which suggests that many people recognize how difficult it will be to slow global warming.

Tom, it won't be hard to slow global warming--NATURE's already doing it. There has been no warming for the last 10 years and we are actually seening cooling over the past few years.

In fact, the AGW alarmist were telling us in August that the North Pole my soon be devoid of any ice.

Since then here's what's happened:

"Thanks to a rapid rebound in recent months, global sea ice levels now equal those seen 29 years ago, when the year 1979 also drew to a close."

Here's another tidbit:

"Ice levels had been tracking lower throughout much of 2008, but rapidly recovered in the last quarter. In fact, the rate of increase from September onward is the fastest rate of change on record, either upwards or downwards."
