Britain: Climate drops down agenda
Fewer people thought climate change was one of the three most important issues facing Britain in 2008 than in 2007, according to surveys by the Office for National Statistics for the DfT. Whereas 32% of the 2,245 respondents identified climate change as one of the top three issues in 2007, 27% of 2,191 respondents put it in the top three in 2008. Eight percent saw it as the most important issue in 2008, down from 9% in 2007...
