Bravo, California Congressman Rep Dana Rohrabacher

Email via Benny Peiser:
[From] Hermann Burchard [burchar@math.okstate.edu]

Dear Benny,

members of CCNet may be interested in an address on climate given by California
Congressman Rep Dana Rohrabacher Mar 18 to the US House (broadcast live on
C-SPAN TV).  He talked about origin, protagonists, science, non-sense and
controversies of the climate agenda in some detail including a few memorable
vignettes,-- as e.g. on foul play against climate sceptics, etc.  The focus of
the address was on CO2.

Here I excerpt from some pithy remarks near the end of the speech where four
scientists are quoted by name (names here omitted) who are in prominent
positions in climate research and publicity:

* "the worst scientific scandal in history"
* "an ideology pegged on carbon dioxide is a dangerous nonsense"
* "much of the current warming occurred before the levels of carbon dioxide in
the atmosphere were significantly increased by the burning of fossil fuels."
* "CO2 emissions make absolutely no difference one way or another.. Every
scientist knows this, but it doesn't pay to say so."
