Climate scam affects Lent: Catholics go light on carbon emissions

Some parishioners at St. Paul Newman Center in northeast Fresno, Calif., are giving up something unusual for Lent. They're sacrificing creature comforts for the good of Mother Earth.

They say they have one eye on God and the other on global warming.
