Indeed, powering up the device with wind power proved to be difficult. Even while attached to a bike, I had to pedal fast against the wind before the HYmini indicated “charging” (a small green light near the fan). If it was hard to get wind by doing that, it is very unlikely that just putting the device out on a windy day would do anything.
