For a whole hour they will go dark to remind us to “conserve energy” that does not need conserving. It needs to be expanded into parts of the world where there is no electricity and, as a result, there is no economy which is another way of saying there is a lot of poverty, sickness, and early death.

CLIMATE CHANGE “will be an absolute focus” of Sweden’s presidency of the European Union from July 1st when it takes over from the crisis-stricken Czech Republic, according to Swedish environment minister Andreas Carlgren.

A number of people have recently expressed concern (or confusion) on Twitter about a new site from a group calling itself the "International Climate Science Coalition", which purports to be a group of concerned, reputable scientists who are climate change "skeptics". The site implies that they are climate scientists who have sufficient background to make these judgments. This blatant dishonesty makes me so furious a simple "tweet" was not enough. I describe below who these guys really are.
