The Reference Frame: Democracy causes global warming
...NASA's climate chief has found the main culprit: democracy causes global warming. The democratic process is deficient because it prevents James Hansen from stopping the global economy and from saving the world.

I would infinitesimally admire Hansen for such original thoughts if they had not been invented by another, German thinker in the 1920s and realized in the 1930s and early 1940s. So I am sorry, Mr Hansen, you have to share credit and follow the historical rules of the game.
Tim Ball: Lack of logic in those who claim to be logical
Once people realize that humans are not causing global warming and the IPCC claims are scientifically unjustified, despite strong support by environmentalists, two questions logically follow. What is the motive and how has such a situation developed?...
Gore Looks to Rally Action with New Book - The Atlantic Politics Channel
Following up on his New York Times bestselling An Inconvenient Truth of 2006, former Vice President Al Gore will release a new book later this year, titled Our Choice, in the hopes of spurring action on climate change. The book will draw on discussions from the climate "Solutions Summits" Gore has held since 2006. One might ask how the new book could be different--after all, one can only point out the need for action on climate change in so many ways. But even if the book makes the exact same points as his previous bestseller, it's the duty of any activist to continue calling attention to one's issue until that issue is solved.
UK: Climate scam box office numbers
At the specialist end of the market, anti-global warming documentary The Age of Stupid opened with a seemingly stonking £102,000 from 20 screens, for a £5,088 average. However, it turns out that this figure includes more than £70,000 from a satellite-linked, solar-powered "people's premiere" at 53 cinemas the previous Sunday. Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth debuted with £64,000 from 18 screens back in September 2006. Leonardo DiCaprio's similarly themed The 11th Hour began with a disappointing £252 from its single-screen launch last March.
