Video: Boxer: Look At Me, Look At Me! | Mix Z
Barbara Boxer, the majority chair of the Senate Environmental and Public Works committee, called a meeting on March 29. In attendance were the press, the environmental lobby organizations, and a host of corporate interests that should, by rights, be Boxer’s enemies. It was a Seinfeld meeting about nothing. Nothing that is, except Boxer drawing attention to herself and her “sincere” desire to enact a carbon cap and trade bill at some unspecified time in the future.

Called a “Reality Check” on Global Warming Action (she didn’t get the memo that it is now called Climate Change?), the presentation was full of assertions that actions have now begun in earnest.

U.S. Climate Change [Swindle] Summit Sets Stage for National Response
WASHINGTON, March 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A two-day summit on climate change that is bringing together top scientists, members of Congress, Obama administration officials, business leaders, state government officials, and representatives of nongovernmental organizations kicked off today at the National Academy of Sciences. The summit -- which launches America's Climate Choices, an NAS project that will generate a series of congressionally-requested reports -- will lay the groundwork for how the nation can limit the magnitude of climate change, adapt to its impacts, and provide paths to action.
