Vocal Minority: Al Gore's Idea of Confrontation: "I'm Right, So Why Should I Debate You?"

You call this a confrontation? This wasn’t a confrontation. This was a duck. A dismissal. Lomborg’s books, which I own, are chock full of facts and data exposing Al Gore’s positions as exactly what they are: theories and conjectures—and Gore knows it. And if he had let Lomborg utter even one more word, he would actually have had to defend his indefensible positions. And that would have been the end of that.

So like a skilled wrestler caught in a half nelson, Gore twisted himself out of the situation by referring to this anonymous “scientific community” we keep hearing about.
