YouTube - Ben Stein on cap and trade: "It's a scam" - Glenn Beck - 3 3 09
Second part of the begining of the show concerning global issues
Boris Ryvkin '09: Don't feed the environmental troll - Columns
Last semester, some campus environmentalists came out in favor of a monitor in every room to record student energy use and punish bad behavior. Now they are revitalizing efforts to reduce Brown's carbon footprint. The overestimation of Brown's importance to climate change in these activists' minds astounds me. Whether man's intervention on this issue is needed at all, or we are undergoing a cyclical warming period that happens every few millennia, is one thing. But how big of an effect does Brown really have on the global climate?

The Corporation, by allowing these environmental projects to go ahead, is generating a cost that far exceeds the potential benefit. Worse, there might be no real financial or environmental benefit to speak of at all.
James Randerson: Climate change creationists
They play up the "it's just a theory" debate just like the creationists and they paint themselves as valiant scientific mavericks who are supposedly ignored and vilified by the establishment. Worst of all they have been pushing their own version of "teach the controversy".
