BBC NEWS | Climate change [swindle] fans Nepal's fires
More than the loss of plants and animals, the carbon dioxide emitted by the fires was a matter of concern, according to Ghanashyam Gurung, a director at WWF's Nepal office.Hook, line, and sinker: Victoria's Governor swallows the climate scam
The Governor argues that the scientific evidence overwhelmingly supports the link between man-made increases in greenhouse gas and damaging global warming — and he takes a swipe at the sceptics.Dylan Otto Krider: Photo feature of climate [realists]
This is what he told a Rotary group in February: "If for a moment we accept the sceptics' views, that all the answers are not available and introduce an element of uncertainty, we could allow a 5 per cent level of uncertainty that greenhouse gases are not the cause of the climatic changes. That the drought in Australia is just an unusual event in our weather patterns and that the recent heatwave and the bushfires that are devastating this state are just 100-year events and will not be repeated soon …
"Can you, as influential people in our society, discount a factor that has a 95 per cent level of certainty and fail to take the necessary actions to make sure that we are protected against these eventualities?
"The point I am driving here is that we must all act, even if there may be a small degree of uncertainty, as the consequences of inaction are disastrous."

We'd like to include a few of our own in our own slideshow of "skeptics" who co-opt our movement's reputation for reason to push ideological blindness. Our slideshow has the scientists who almost always land on the deniers lists as those doubting global warming science, whom actually think humans are warming the Earth.
