Charging facility opens up at Gateway - Daily Democrat Online
Billed as the "most complete" charging facility of its type in the country, the two-unit power-station is capable of recharging electric vehicles in about one hour.
...
"We're wrapping up Earth Day," said Eugen Dunlap of the UC Davis School of Education, who inaugurated the charging facility. "These EVs (electric vehicles) are a small part of the struggle against global warming."
...
Dunlap noted there were other advantages to the facility besides recharging electric vehicles. Because it takes at least an hour to recharge, he said, it means people will be shopping at the center.

That drew applause from the crowd, which included Wendy Ross, the city's economic development manager.
CLIMATE [Scam] Study: Cuts in greenhouse gas could lessen warming
A computer simulation by the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo., looked at what would happen by the end of the century if greenhouse gas levels were cut by 70 percent.
...
Future heat waves would be 55 percent less intense.

The vast majority of Republicans and a significant number of moderate Democrats don't think the predicted impact of cap and trade is worth the economic cost. With the outcome of the debate still in doubt, the Obama administration is using the threat of EPA regulation as a cudgel to force moderate Democrats and Republicans to accept climate legislation.

Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., said "it's now a choice between regulation and legislation."

Or, to put it more bluntly, it's take cap and trade and its higher energy costs or we'll sic EPA bureaucrats on businesses and industries.

This is yet another glimpse of the real Obama agenda: Change you'd better believe in.

Green is the new Red. Green house gas is a pure methane myth. This would not be the first time noxious gases have come from Washington.
