Climate change caller sparks only heat in leader's debate :: The Hook
In an otherwise rather lacklustre leader’s debate this morning, the only lively interaction between the candidates was sparked by a call about the issue that has already proven to be one of the hottest topics on the campaign trail -- climate change.

“I’m sitting here and I’m thinking: Neither one of these people understand the science of climate change,” Green Leader Jane Sterk replied.

It was an observation that could have easily been attributed to any of the three leaders.

Holy moly, I never thought of this? It’s brilliant! Let’s just legislate that hydrocarbons should have less carbon! And tell the refiners to figure it out.
Daily Sound — Environmentalism or Imperialism?
Creating government regulations that hinder the survival and progress of mankind to prevent mythical outcomes is insane.

Environmentalism has become embarrassing.
Disney's Earth: Mother Nature as movie star.
Q. Were you careful about the climate change message?

A. Yes, we were very clear from the beginning that it wasn't going to be another Inconvenient Truth or Eleventh Hour, partly because those aren't really our skills set, but partly because we wanted to celebrate the planet. There's a lot of bad news at the moment, but nobody within one lifetime will see everything we show them in the movie. I don't believe that people go to the cinema for that experience, either - I mean, I was very pleased that An Inconvenient Truth was made, but it could have worked on TV just as easily; the beauty of nature, which works so brilliantly on the big screen, is not Al Gore against a blackboard. But what's been so nice is that a lot of people have come out of Earth and said it has really inspired them to make some changes in their lives. You can often communicate a message far more powerfully if you don't do it in a heavy-handed way and that was our desire when we made our film.
