I Hate Al Gore » Truth Behind Global Warming
By Shin Chul-hoI Hate Al Gore » Obama’s EPA - Brainwashing our Children
Until recently, I was a fanatic environmentalist and gave my full support to the Kyoto Protocol.
But “Unstoppable Global Warming,” by S. Fred Singer and Dennis T. Avery, on the New York Times Bestseller list in 2008, distanced me far away from the theory of huge CO2-driven temperature increases.
It may seem hard to believe that people can actually change the Earth’s climate. But scientists think that the things people do that send greenhouse gases into the air are making our planet warmer. paw print Cartoon of car, plane and factory, which all use energy. But we need to use energy wisely if we want to slow global warming. Once, all climate changes occurred naturally.NC Media Watch: Green jobs and a bursting bubble
If we create green jobs that rely on subsidies, taking people ways from non-subsidized jobs, this creates a green job bubble. A bubble that will burst once the subsidy funding stops. That would put Nevada County's economy in worse shape than it is now.The Vespa Experiment on MySpace Music
One final thought. China is building solar panels cheaper than we can in the US, using power from coal fired power plants. With California increasing the cost of energy with more carbon taxes, it would be impossible for a Nevada County solar manufacture to compete without huge subsidies, even if they did solved the transportation cost issues.
About The Vespa Experiment
MUSIC. GREENPEACE. VESPA. STOP GLOBAL WARMING. In the midst of these deeply troubling times, every day people are joining forces to make a real and positive difference in the world. We have reached a critical “tipping” point. Our thoughts, choices and actions impact the world directly every minute of every day. We cannot satiate every impulse, satisfy every craving and at the same time pretend we are working towards world peace or saving the earth. The time to do something is NOW.
THE VESPA EXPERIMENT'S primary mission is to send a message to stop global warming by using the power of music. Co-founders Jason Reeves and Brendan James will be joined by their friend and ally, Amber Rubarth, on this purposeful journey. Supported by Greenpeace, the three musicians will ride Vespas up the California Coast, honoring the natural beauty of the West and performing at traditional (club) venues, as well as on mountaintops, beaches and town centers.
