Not a great week for Joe Romm
[My apologies to readers about the heavy denier traffic, but one of the most popular right-wing disinformation sites has trained its slime on me. The main reason I am responding is that this involves an important progressive talking point that conservatives are trying to shout down. I have been traveling this week, which hindered my response to the comments, but I will be more vigilant.]More idiocy from Bryan Walsh and Time magazine: The New Age of Extinction - Saving the World's Endangered Species - TIME
Through our growing numbers, our thirst for natural resources and, most of all, climate change — which, by one reckoning, could help carry off 20% to 30% of all species before the end of the century — we're shaping an Earth that will be biologically impoverished.

Joe is doing house cleaning. You can track the deletion of "inconvenient" posts by refreshing that climate progress link.
Here's my missive posted here to save it from the Romm sensor.
Desmog blog is still in business? I would have though Littlemore had tossed in the towel after Monck beat him at his own game (guilt by association - in Littlemore's case the major funding for desmog coming from a convicted felon). Monckton vs Littlemore radio debate.
When one alarmist gets stomped in debate, followed by denials and recriminations against their opposition, that's a curiosity.
When two alarmists get stomped in debate, followed by denial and recriminations against their opposition, that looks like a pattern.
Here is the space where I'd post a link to Gavin Schmidt and Pierrehumbert's recriminations after Professor Lindzen and the late Michael Crichton made a mockery of them in a debate at Columbia, except Joe won't let me have more then one link. Take my word for it.
After three high profile alarmist bloggers get stomped in debate, what else can you call that except a trend?
