This is a bluff we should call. The truth is, if the Obama Administration and Congress don't step in and stop the EPA from regulating every aspect of the economy by shoehorning greenhouse gas regulation into the 1970's, they will be responsible for what follows. Would they really shut down all construction activity in the U.S.? Require federal permitting for every restaurant whose kitchen uses natural gas? Require federal permitting for farms with just 25 cows?

The EPA may set this extortion scheme in motion as early as today with something called an endangerment finding. Our recent release on that is here and we signed onto this coalition letter that was sent to EPA administrator Lisa Jackson yesterday.
