SF Environmental Policy Examiner: Global warming skeptic--or dastardly denier?
So, why is the name I am called important?

Because 20 years ago some idiots began denying that the Holocaust ever occurred. They knew it wasn't true when they said it and they were a pretty evil group. These bad folk were labelled Holocaust Deniers. Global warming alarmists are trying to associate me with these people when they call me a climate change denialist.

I'm a big boy. I've been called worse. I spent four years in the Navy and my ears don't burn and my cheeks don't blush. But what's truly evil about these people transferring all of the associations from Holocaust Denial to those who don't agree with them about climate change is the fact that they are trivialising the deaths of six million people by doing so. That is evil, as evil as those who first began denying the Holocaust.
Al Gore Sells Only US-Listed Solar Holding (STP) | Solar Feeds News and Commentary Network
The filing showed that the firm held 18 US-listed securities with a total value of $950.7 million as of 12/31/08, but the ownership listing does not one US-listed solar company. As of 9/30/08, Generation had held over $31 million in Suntech Power Holdings Co Ltd (STP), but the firm’s 12/31/08 filing revealed that it had sold all of its shares. Many global solar stocks, including Suntech Power, suffered heavy losses over Q4 2008, so Generation’s lack of exposure could be attributed to a short-term view of US-listed solar companies.

Since the Sun saturates the Earth with light, and that light can heat up the atmosphere, we should ban the use of the Sun as it contributes to global Weather.

It seem to me, that while we may or may not be responsible for a 1/300th degree rise in the last 30 years, the Sun has been 100% responsible for day to day temperatures.

100%!
...
Every year, the Sun influences the weather, with no oversight, no accountability, and it gets away with murder too. Skin cancer, drought, desertification and probably Tornadoes too!
Sarah Palin’s Energy Plan: Not Much to Like (Republicans had better do better than this) — MasterResource
First, how does Sarah Palin (or anyone else for that matter) know a priori that the best (that is, the most efficient) electricity sector in Alaska is one that will deliver 50 percent of its energy from renewable sources in the year 2025? No analytics whatsoever have been forwarded to back this number up. No reason is offered for rejecting 46 percent, 38 percent, or for that matter, 65 percent or any other figure. The 50 percent goal, put bluntly, simply sounds good to voters (and thus, to politicians), which is a one very good reason to be suspicious of that goal from an economic perspective.
