Skeptic's Corner: Proof of collective Insanity
I want you to think about the above posted article and everything you hear about the science being settled. The numbing drumbeat of scientist, media and politicians constantly hammering home the crisis of climate change. The absolute necessity to act now to save the planet. Then read this one simple article and this one simple paragraph in it...
Cap-and-Trade: All Pain, No Gain - Roll Call
The bottom line for working Americans is that they get a double whammy of higher prices at home and fewer will have jobs to pay those higher costs. The ACCF/NAM study found that reductions in total U.S. employment could reach as much as 1.8 million jobs by 2020 and 4.1 million by 2030. This toxic economic cocktail could decrease GDP by up to 2.7 percent by 2030, a truly staggering figure.

So what’s the environmental reward for this hefty investment?

According to the Council of Economic Advisers’ Report to the President, global concentrations of carbon dioxide will be virtually unaffected by U.S. reductions unless developing countries participate. In short, that means sacrificing U.S. economic growth — not to mention lots of good jobs — through unilateral climate change policies would yield little environmental benefit.
United by the climate scam?: Alaska tribes meet with Bolivian president
ANCHORAGE – Alaska Tribes will be holding a private tribal leader reception with the president of Bolivia, the honorable Evo Morales Ayma in Anchorage, Alaska.

Morales would like to use this opportunity to meet with indigenous leaders in the U.S. and develop a lasting relationship between indigenous people in Bolivia and the United States. The president will be in Alaska to attend the Indigenous Peoples Summit on Climate Change where he will deliver an address during the morning hours of April 23. Immediately following, the Bolivian government, in coordination with the Alaska InterTribal Council, the National Congress of American Indians, and the National Tribal Environmental Council, will hold a private reception with the president.
