We're saved!: Brainwashed teenager recycles 300 bottle caps
Alice Szeliga is trying to make the world greener one plastic bottle cap at a time.

The 13-year-old Girl Scouts cadet started collecting the tops this month during her school lunch hour as part of a service learning project through the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys.

In one week, the Long Lake teen gathered 300 bottle caps.

For this year's project, girls had to complete three activities to "reduce, reuse and recycle" to earn a Caps Off with Girl Scouts patch. Recycling caps was one requirement. Another was reducing their carbon footprints.
March 07: Al Gore makes [another insane global warming claim]
Mr Gore spoke first to a joint session of two House of Representative committees on energy and environmental issues and then the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

"This problem is burning a hole at the top of the world in the ice cover that is one of the principal ways our planet cools itself," he said.

"If it goes, it won't come back on any timescale relevant to the human species."
