Cardinal George Pell, Archbishop of Sydney, weighs in
In Roman times and in the Medieval Warming (900 - 1300 A.D.) temperatures were higher than today by five and six degrees Celsius. No industries then!

In different Ice Ages the earth's atmosphere contained five and ten times the amount of carbon dioxide today.

Evidence shows the wheels are falling from the climate catastrophe bandwagon.

The threat of catastrophic climate change is "carte blanche" for any political change. Beating climate change justifies EVERYTHING. It is the "royal flush" of political systems. For example, if "Communism" is the best system to defeat climate change, then "we" MUST TRANSFORM our society into Communism!!! We have NO CHOICE!!! There is no time to discuss it at length or to conduct referndums or any democratic process, TIME IS RUNNING OUT, we MUST ACT NOW, it's our ONLY HOPE!!!!
