Denver Weather Examiner: The end of “global warming”

No matter what someone calls it, I have yet to see a tax that actually gives money back to the people – at least not as much as it costs them. Whether these things are called global warming, climate change, cap and trade or some other term that is deemed more marketable, one has to wonder just how dumb these folks think Americans are? Despite the advocacy of Al Gore and James Hansen, more and more Americans doubt just how much man is truly responsible for climate change. Is a name change going to alter that?

FOXWIRE: President Obama is summoning Democratic members of the House Energy Commerce Committee to the White House Tuesday morning to discuss a path forward on his controversial climate legislation.

Washington » Democrats say their climate change bill will reduce harmful emissions and create a boom in green-collar jobs that will help power the economy in the years to come.

But Western Republicans, led by Utah Rep. Rob Bishop, don't buy it. They held a news conference Tuesday to rail against what Bishop calls "government-dictated green jobs," which they argue will be unsustainable in the long run.

"Some of those jobs are as real as the Jolly Green Giant: it is a great ad concept, but it doesn't exist," Bishop said.
