How should we tax all that carbon? : The Island of Doubt
Sadly, climate change denialism remains relatively robust and widespread, with more half of all Americans and popular columnists of George F. Will's stature still unwilling to accept the science. I have no choice but to acknowledge the task of getting everyone on board will require more time and energy, even while we grapple with the much murkier world of economics.
Wind Watch: Why are wind turbines on the best land?
There has been a great deal of correspondence about the proposed wind turbine development in Sempringham Fen but no one seems to have given much thought about the long term effect on agriculture and the fact that the fen sites are being chosen solely because it is an underpopulated area with therefore little opposition.

The fens are the richest source of food producing land in the country. The Romans thought so and dug the Carre Dyke by hand to make best use of every acre.

With the Doomsday scenario of global warming, lack of water for irrigation and areas becoming too hot to grow crops, what are we doing? Covering the fens with wind turbines which are supported on huge lumps of concrete and which even the developers say will not be removable. And all to produce electricity for just one day out of three!

There are a handful of expert skeptics about the dangers posed by global warming. But given the unusual consensus among almost all other experts, nonexpert citizens have no responsible choice except to make saving the biosphere their top priority.
YouTube - In case you missed it: Marc Morano talks about Al Gore
Al Gore has profitted handsomely in promoting the Global Warming theory. His assets has risen from $2m to $100m. Go Green...nice returns for someone who flies around in his own private jet, which uses fossil fuel. Watch my right hand, not my left. Believe me when I say I have no monetary interest in Global warming !!!
