Pure climate fraud from Kofi Annan

Climate change to claim 600,000 lives a year | The Australian
"Climate change is the greatest emerging humanitarian challenge of our time, causing suffering to hundreds of millions of people worldwide," Kofi Annan, former UN secretary-general and GHF president, said.
...
"Copenhagen needs to be the most ambitious international agreement ever negotiated," he wrote in an introduction to the report.

"The alternative is mass starvation, mass migration and mass sickness."

The study warns that the true human impact of global warming is likely to be far more severe than it predicts, because it uses conservative UN scenarios.

New scientific evidence points to greater and more rapid climate change.
...
To avoid the worst outcomes, the report says efforts to adapt to the effects of climate change must be scaled up 100 times in developing countries.

Hmmmm, let's see - there are places in the world where people can't raise enough food to feed everyone, and this study is predicting that millions will die there. The obvious question is, why isn't birth control the NUMBER ONE issue in those areas? It's pure insanity for people to bring more babies into an environment where it's a given that starvation will occur. But no, if you try to suggest birth control as an option, you're instantly labeled a racist.

Sad times we live in. The UN and other "greenie" organizations are doing a wonderful job of scaring the majority of US citizens into thinking we MUST reduce our quality of life. And sadly, Obama and the Dems are in lockstep with the lunatic fringe.

This whole climate change is killing the world thing is cr*p ramped up to bilk billions from the western nations to redistribute to these same african nations that have never been able to feed themselves, but still act as baby factories to bring more kids into the world to die. Sorry - my sympathies ran out years ago. If a certain geography is not meant to survive by what mother nature has provided them, then perhaps they are not meant to survive. We should not be artificially keeping them up, with this false sense of hope that some day they will be able to feed themselves. They will never be able to - they were not meant to live where they are with the level of population that they have. Sorry.

Additionally, I hardly think Annan would want to ship billions into the developed Western regions to accomodate these for any global climate changes (which is bunk anyway according to the real scientests - not Gore who stands to make BILLIONS on carbon trading). I wonder why that is?

Worldwide, average temperatures have been falling for a decade. The winter of 2008-9 was the coldest in a century in large parts of the world, and the coldest ever recorded in some parts. Sunspot activity indicates that we are heading for sharply lower temperatures in the near future, with the potential for a new ice age in the not-too-distant future. Scientific evidence is that mankind's activities have little, if any, impact on the climate, despite claims to the contrary by the liars in the media and the UN and the lefties who call themselves our leaders. When will the sheeple stop listening to those whose only goal is to tax and control us into total submission and poverty?
