Why America Does Not Care About Global Warming « Roy Spencer, Ph. D.
So, for those of you in the environmental community who think the global warming message needs to be repackaged, or rephrased, or have a change in terminology …well…I think you are wasting your time. The people have gotten the message, loud and clear: Global warming is manmade, and it is only going to get worse.

The trouble is that the people simply don’t think you know what you are talking about. And if global warming is largely a natural process, cutting down on our greenhouse gas emissions is going to have no measurable effect on future global temperatures.

Now, if you think you might succeed through a different kind of deception of the public…well, that indeed might work.

Of course when I say "Dangerous climate change theory", I put the pause in after dangerous, where as Jim Hansen would pause after change.
Alarmist journalist Tom Yulsman: "Scientists ice global cooling dead enders" | CEJournal
The science didn’t surprise me here. It’s just plain old common sense that a long term climate trend will include shorter-term ups and downs in temperature. But the explicit mention of bloggers and articles in the popular press on global cooling — and right at the very top of the paper — was new on me.
Wind Watch: Suzlon says retrofit of U.S. blades on schedule
The company has taken a $35 million charge for the program to replace all 1,200 blades in its previous generation of blades, some of which developed cracking near the base. One blade broke off a turbine in Illinois.
Plug-In Hybrids: More Hype Than Hope?
Having racked up some 17,000 miles, the plug-in Prius hybrids are averaging just 51 mpg. That's raising uncomfortable questions about the value and effectiveness of plug-in technology, even as President Obama pledges to have 1 million of them on the road by 2015.

"Getting 51 miles per gallon sounds fine compared to most gas cars," railed Seattle Times columnist Danny Westneat. "But it's a black eye for a technology that trumpets it will get twice that."
