Toles is using the strawman tactic of showing a fight between AGW alarmists and non-alarmists. So the suggested idea is, should warming actually happen at the projected rate, then ALL the legislation, ALL the taxes, ALL the carbon surveillance police state will have been justified.
But this is not so! Even then "the scientists" have no business in restricting and controlling our individual activities. They can try to convince us to change, but to have 51% of the voters impose "green tyranny" on 49% of them is unacceptable.
