And Now, Climate Bill's Supporters Try Counting to 60 in Senate - NYTimes.com
In an interview earlier this month, McCain, who twice forced Senate floor votes on cap-and-trade legislation during the Bush years, said he had not heard from Obama on climate change since last November.

"I don't think it's possible," McCain said. "It's total disarray. There's no bipartisanship, there's no consensus."
Hottest June day on record in Baltimore and weather outlook for June 29
Today is the anniversary of the hottest day ever recorded in Baltimore. The mark of 105F was set in 1934, three quarters of a century ago. Needless to say, it was a year which still shows numerous records on the books. It was also the hottest year on record beyond Baltimore as well. Something must have governed the weather and warming long before the buzz of carbon dioxide kicked in. In fact, the last triple digit reading in June was 101F in 1994, 15 years ago.

With the Climate Change Bill working it's way through Congress, you may want a look at my recap of the Skeptic's Guide to Global Warming in my recent post linked here. Basically, there is a lot of evidence that argues against the Global Warming theory. This spring and early summer's cool weather has aroused more suspicion. So far, Baltimore has yet to reach 90F for June... a very rare feat. I will have more on that tomorrow.
Earth on the Brink of an Ice Age
I am a true believer, that climate happens in cycles, with global warming being no different, so enjoy the read and maybe your opinion of Global Warming, when looking at the overall climate picture, will change just like the weather.
"U.S. starts to put on its ‘big boy’ pants" [because being a "big boy" means being afraid of trace amounts of natural atmospheric gas?]
Last friday afternoon I tuned into the Waxman-Markey debates on the House floor to hear the final death throes of republican opposition to a climate bill...The bill now has to get through the senate, which might be a fierce struggle, but finally it feels like we’re growing up!
