Chucky Returns, Part IV « Climate Audit
This long-awaited report appears is the 4th version of the NOAA report on the US, an earlier version of which was discussed at CA last summer here. This was the report that used the fake photograph of a flooded house, in which the flood waters had been photoshopped onto a picture of house in the northwest U.S. It also used Mann's HS.
[Yet another mercenary]: Bastien Hibon of Brawn GP - [Does this guy actually believe that carbon dioxide is a pollutant?]
Given the gas-guzzling reputation of motor racing, it may be surprising to some that Hibon previously held the post of creative director for environmental group Friends of the Earth, where he played a major role in rebranding the organisation to appeal to a new audience.

However, his role at Brawn GP is his second stint in Formula One. Hibon got his first big break in motorsport while working for a PR agency employed by cigarette brand Lucky Strike, which then owned BAR Honda, later to become Honda Racing. During this time he created corporate films and learned about the breakneck pace of motor racing off-track.
...
While at Friends of the Earth, Hibon's proudest moment came when he was head of communications for a climate change campaign called ‘The Big Ask'. This led to the government setting obligatory year-on-year climate-change targets. ‘It taught me the power of having a strong brand that you can push and how to use that brand,' he says. ‘I also learnt how to engage key stakeholders, from ministers, including prime ministers, to punters. In the end, we got close to 200,000 people to write to their MP, which led to the most successful early day motion since World War II.'
