DailyTech - French Scientist Turned Politician Attacked Over Climate Skepticism
What's truly alarming and grave about this situation is that it’s not Mr. Allègre's past political stances, nor the merits of his celebrated career that critics of his potential appointment are focusing on. It is his skepticism that man is responsible for global warming. These critics have transformed global warming into the new religion of alarm, and those who do not convert, will be condemned.

In doing so, they make a mockery of diligent climate researchers, both proponents of anthropogenic warming and climate skeptics alike. And sadly, such respectable researchers are in a dwindling minority as the alarmists gain greater control of research funding and publicity.
ABC Global Warming Special Makes Up Future, But It's Not 'Sci-Fi'
The world is about to end, or at least that’s according to ABC’s “Good Morning America.” The June 2 segment promoted a new special called “Earth 2100.” The program follows Lucy, a girl born in 2009, and her dramatic story about how if we don’t take drastic measures immediately climate change will cause droughts, floods, mass migration, and starvation.
Warning Signs: The US is Committing National Suicide
There is one, single reason why we can’t get at those oil and natural gas reserves, as well as being denied access to the massive amounts of U.S. coal reserves. It is the environmental organizations that maintain a campaign against energy use in the nation.
AFP: Paris mayor [promotes climate fraud]
COPENHAGEN (AFP) — Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe on Tuesday urged big cities to act immediately to change urban dwellers' lifestyles to help stop global warming, saying "time is of the essence."

"In the world's large cities, it's time to change the way we travel, consume and generate our energy," Delanoe told representatives of local governments at a meeting on climate change in Copenhagen.

Environmentalists are also to blame for opposition to nuclear reprocessing. Nuke plants burn only 0.5 percent of their uranium, so the rest can be reused hundreds of times by reprocessing the fuel rods.

Enviro-wackos first block all attempts at reprocessing, and then complain about the health impact of uranium mining (which wouldn't be necessary for another 400 years if we could only reprocess it)
