Global warming, climate change and the politics of language
You'll notice that my headlines always have global warming in them (yes, I write my own headlines--feel free to suggest better ones). Yet most of the wire services use climate change, or have for the past three years. BONN, June 12 (Xinhua) -- The second round of UN climate talks concluded on Friday in Bonn, Germany with limited progress. The climate seemed to have become warmer but the talks cooler during the 12 days of negotiations.
