Great Falls trees being checked for damage - Montana
This summer will be the time to finally determine if last year's cold spring weather claimed the life of trees in the Great Falls area.

Some sub-zero temperatures severely damaged several trees in April of 2008 when cold weather killed buds on trees throughout the city, but the Green Ash trees were especially vulnerable.

Curiously, the statement doesn't talk about actual global temperature trends.
Criticism Ramps Up Against Cap-And-Trade Systems
Several organizations are joining the ranks of growing criticism of cap-and-trade programs around the globe, saying carbon offset programs do more harm than good and could result in significantly higher costs for some industries.

Recent criticism comes from the American Trucking Association (ATA), which told a Congressional Committee that a cap-and-trade program could result in significantly higher costs in the trucking industry and for American consumers.
