New York Times Wishes A Little Wish On Global Warming
Indeed: try really hard and then be sure to give up with gusto! We’d be tempted to say it’s ironic that an organization facing financial ruin due to its own business mismanagement would be so unaware of economic realities, but it’s not really irony at all — it’s simply part of a larger problem of economic ignorance (or denial of reality) on the part of many who want to make the world a better place but are willing to do so at the expense of the things that keep it turning.

Now, this is not an example of consensus, especially when Mann and Schmidt have contrary views, which were marvelously printed one after another in the AP story. Mann's gleaming endorsement seems a bit premature and some would wonder if he actually read the same study that his fellow Team Member did.
