Power Line - Obama's EPA Quashes Climate Change Science

Global warming zealots are a bit like Iran's mullahs. They are fanatically devoted to a series of false propositions. Unable to win an open scientific debate, they consistently resort to bullying and brute force to suppress their opposition. Once again, we see the Obama administration taking the lead in this regard, putting political ideology above scientific truth and demanding that all others do likewise.

WASHINGTON -- One of President Barack Obama's top advisers says Republicans are using inaction as a political strategy.

White House aide David Axelrod said Sunday that the GOP has used its opposition to a climate change bill as a plan for next year's congressional elections. He said the rival party should instead focus on how to help rebuild the economy.

Republicans say the bill just passed by the House on Friday night is a jobs killer and a major tax increase. Axelrod said the criticism is a "phony issue" with a "negligible" impact on average Americans. He said the bill would create millions of environmentally friendly jobs.
