Secretary Steven Chu described a "looming crisis in energy and climate change" in his commencement speech Thursday night at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College.
He told members of the graduating class that they can respond through work to boost energy efficiency. Chu says that means building "green" systems and buildings, increasing supplies of renewable energy and taking steps at home to cut personal energy use.

On Saturday 27th June we will host our Climate Change Fair. We cordially invite you and your family to join us for an afternoon of learning, awareness-raising, discussion, workshops and action.
