American Thinker: Cap-and-Trade Means Regulate and Subsidize
In a further effort to perpetrate this fraud, on page 1102 we discover the "Summer Institutes Program and the Regional Climate Center." According to the bill: "The purpose of the program is to provide training and professional enrichment by providing opportunities for interaction between participants and climate scientists in a research and operational setting to-enable middle school and high school teachers to integrate weather and climate sciences into their curricula: and encourage undergraduate students to pursue further study and careers in weather and climate sciences."

This is nothing but government sponsored brainwashing, folks.

Thank you Mr. Boehner, for saying it like it is. You, sir, are a great American. Now let's place pressure on the Senate to keep this sucker bill from passing its stinky gas.
VIDEO: Michael Jackson The Environmentalist: Earth Song | TakePart Social Action Network™
It seems those of us growing up in the U.S. missed out on Jackson’s environmental rally cry, “Earth Song”, which topped even “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” on the U.K. charts, but was never released here. Thanks to TreeHugger, the song has re-emerged and could become a massive eco-anthem at a time when we desperately need to make some Jackson-esque dance moves if we’re going to combat climate change and clean up the planet (or “heal the world” if you will). Not surprisingly, the tune is pretty catchy and could encourage some rebellious, eco-warrior fist-pumping and foot-stomping, and while the big budget video may have had a Neverland-size carbon footprint, the message of reclaiming the planet from destructive and exploitative forces is all the more pertinent today.
Flopping Aces » Blog Archive » Dear Mr. President: Thanks Again For Cap And Trade [Reader Post]
We are the heads of a few of your largest constituents, including Dow, GE and DuPont. This letter represents our sentiments in wishing to express our gratitude for your and Ms. Pelosi’s efforts on our behalf. We thank you, our shareholders thank you, and certainly all of us look forward to contributing to your Presidential Library, once you leave office, if we did not sufficiently contribute already prior to the election.

We can appreciate that neither yourself nor your dear friends in Congress have had time to read the new Bill that opens: “A BILL - To create clean energy jobs, achieve energy independence, reduce global warming pollution and transition to a clean energy economy.” This Bill is very, very, very long and boring. It is also very complex. We conceived it and structured it in such way that the fewer the readers, the less editing would take place. We therefore anticipate that its passage will be swift. The sooner that train leaves the station, the more impossible its progress will be to reverse. It would also not be advantageous if the irrationality, and fear surrounding humanity’s hand in the process of global warming were to subside. Now, is an opportune time to strike.
