[Another $408 million in public money to be blown on climate fraud]
US Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced today that two carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects will receive $408 million in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The projects - an existing power plant in North Dakota and a new facility in California - will incorporate advanced technologies to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Basin Electric Power Cooperative will receive $100 million and Hydrogen Energy International LLC will receive $308 million under the third round of the Clean Coal Power Initiative (CCPI).
