Climate justice: [It's like real justice, except it's based on the biggest scientific fraud of all time]
IT IS A USEFUL concept, and to Kofi Annan, the former secretary-general of the United Nations, must go the credit for popularizing it. Sen. Loren Legarda also deserves approbation, for bringing the issue, in this new, evocative phrasing, to the Philippines’ attention. But while “climate justice” may have its uses, it also has its limitations.

Annan’s Global Alliance for Climate Justice is essentially a worldwide pressure group based on the “polluter pays” principle; in this case, the polluters are the large industrialized countries, who account historically for an overwhelming share of greenhouse gas emissions—according to scientific consensus, the primary engine of global warming. Climate justice seeks to hold the developed economies to account, and to play a proportionate role in the global effort to lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Climate battle moves to the Senate - Courant.com
The Senate also will take up a series of controversial issues that were glossed over or omitted from the House legislation. Among them: giving the government sweeping powers to approve thousands of miles of new transmission lines to carry electric power to coastal cities from wind turbines in the upper Midwest and solar power generators in the Southwest, regardless of local objections.

Making those deals is harder in the Senate than in the House, some analysts say.

"In the House, you can move blocks of votes," said Daniel Weiss, a senior fellow at the liberal Center for American Progress who works on global warming issues. "In the Senate, it's hand-to-hand combat."

"The public is especially wary of passing this during a major recession, and public skepticism is growing about the man-made climate fears," said Marc Morano, editor of the global-warming-skeptic website ClimateDepot.com.

Save the Date — September 21. Already playing in the UK, “Stupid” is scheduled to launch in a solar powered cinema tent in Central Park in NYC on September 21. The unprecedented “green carpet” kickoff will also include a live panel via satellite from NYC. Immediately followed by a national roll-out and worldwide release in Europe, Asia, Africa and Central and Latin America, the auspicious launch date will coincide with united Nation’s Climate Week. Armstrong’s aim is to “demand reform for the December Copenhagen Summit when the KYOTO TREATY — the world’s environmental pact — is up for review, marking a watershed moment in our environmental history.”
