Corn leads grain markets higher | Farm and Dairy - The Auction Guide and Rural Marketplace
When farmers call these days, it is to talk about how cool it has been and to sell a little corn they wish they had sold earlier.

The cool weather is becoming the talk of the Midwest, with something like 3000 reporting stations in the U.S. reporting the lowest average temperature on record.

You will notice that the climate talkers are now talking about climate change and not global warming. Now any variation from the norm is our fault.
[Carol Browner calls CO2 a "dangerous pollutant", then gladhands a rep from a company that deliberately injects this "pollutant" into our drinks]
Speaking of plugs, [Obama administration’s chief climate change advocate, Carol Browner] got one in for the climate change legislation that has passed the House but languishes at the moment in Bond’s Senate.

“We must put a cap on the dangerous pollutants that lead to global warming,” she said.

Then Browner and Bond shook hands with representatives from companies getting keys to their new trucks – AT&T, Coca Cola, Frito-Lay, Staples, Kansas City Power & Light and Pacific Gas and Electric.
[Run for the hills!]: Another major study predicts rapid warming over next few years — nearly 0.3°F by 2014 « Climate Progress
From 2009 to 2014, projected rises in anthropogenic influences and solar irradiance will increase global surface temperature 0.15 ±0.03 °C, at a rate 50% greater than predicted by IPCC.
