Deadliest Catch: Discovery Channel States Bering Sea Is Cooling Yet Concludes Global Warming | NewsBusters.org
The Bering Sea, where the boats of Deadliest Catch do their work, is not known for toasty warm weather. But still, some years are colder than others. Hot Air » Blog Archive » Rasmussen: Obama strong disapproval rises; Update: Zogby shows Obama at 48%

Target for wind power too high - Scotsman.com News
We should take guidance from the National Grid. They have said that with up to 6% of wind generation in our energy mix the generally accepted capacity factor for wind power holds good, with 8GW of wind generating capacity being able to displace 3GW of conventional generation. Beyond this point back-up requirements have an increasingly adverse effect and the law of diminishing returns applies. Introduction of another 17GW of wind generation capacity would be necessary to displace just another 2GW of conventional generation. These figures are taken from Wind Power In The UK, published by the Sustainable Development Commission.
