Don't leave sacrifices to us, says scientist
FOR many Indians, the global debate on climate change is all about justice. There is a perception that rich countries are pushing for a carbon emissions deal that will let their people live in relative affluence, while tens of millions in countries like India remain trapped in relative poverty.
J8 meets G8, ask leaders to get tough on climate change defaulters
L’AQUILA, July 9 (ANI): Fourteen young people from countries attending the G8 today called on their respective leaders to get tough with countries who don’t meet climate change targets and teachers whose standards slip.
Pelosi: Believer in global warming fraud. Will she now face withering criticism from the left over her creationist beliefs?
"I believe that the greatest challenge of our day is the global climate crisis. That is why I have made it the flagship issue of my Speakership.
...
"To ensure our national security, we must end our dependence on foreign oil. To strengthen our economy, we must invest in science and innovation to create clean energy jobs here at home and new green technologies to compete internationally. To protect environmental health, we must reduce air pollution. And, it is a moral issue, because if you believe as I do that this beautiful planet is God's creation, then we have a moral obligation to preserve it for future generations.
By the way, why hasn't Obama faced widespread criticsm from the left over his implied belief in "God's creation"?
So I want to congratulate the House for passing this bill, and I want to urge the Senate to take this opportunity to come together and meet our obligations – to our constituents, to our children, to God’s creation, and to future generations.

Christians must have been wrong for all those 2000 years up to now, and ignored the *obvious* "obligation to preserve" in the bible. They consumed earth's resources without feeling even a bit guilty. Good thing now we have Obama and Pelosi bringing CHANGE to that.

The new eco-/earth-spirituality is coming like a freight train down a hill....
