Lime in oceans 'would reduce CO2 levels' - Telegraph
While the idea is good in theory, Mr Kruger added that in order for it to properly work, the world would need to mine and process abotu 10 cubic kilometres of limestone each year to soak up all the emissions the world produces. The CO2 resulting from the lime productino would also have to be captured and buried at source.
[Yet another breathtakingly stupid Telegraph article by Louise Gray, Environment Correspondent ]:  Britain 74th in world "happiness" rankings - Telegraph
Rather than measure Gross Domestic Product or GDP, the Happy Planet Index or HPI measures life expectancy, happiness and the environmental impact of different nations.

The top ten countries are not the richest nations but middle income countries in Latin America, Asia or the Carribbean where there is a high level of life satisfaction and low carbon footprint.
You see, in these particular "happiness" rankings, it's assumed that having enough wealth for a car and a house makes you UNhappy?!
