Memo to Prince Charles: CO2 is not a pollutant. CO2 is plant food. - James Delingpole - Telegraph Blogs
For those of us who still believe in logic, reason, empiricism, rationality, commonsense, economy reality and our inalienable right not to have trillions and trillions of our pounds, euros and dollars flushed down to the toilet to no purpose whatsoever, listening to the Prince of Wales’s pronouncements on “man made global warming” is becoming an increasingly trying experience.
...
Unless those of us with more than half a brain cell unite and act soon, the earth is going to fall prey to the most destructive, expensive, suicidally pointless taxation and regulation and protectionism in global economic history. We simply cannot afford any longer to allow the likes of the Prince Of Wales, Al Gore, NASA activist James Hansen, Lord Stern and their amen corner in the mainstream media to go on pushing their ludicrous scare story unchallenged.
...
What’s particularly galling about the most outspoken supporters of climate change taxation and regulation is that many of them either are rich enough not to be affected by it or - worse - stand to make vast fortunes as a result of it.
An Englishman's Castle: Where's my Moonbat Cash?
So where's my money? I haven't had a bean, why am I missing out on Exxon's millions? Or is the money that George believes is being splashed about as illusory as the global warming evidence he sees everywhere?
Greenpeace banner on Mt Rushmore, and FIVE coal plants occupied in Italy. « It’s [Allegedly] Getting Hot In Here
Yesterday,  I was arrested today along with 11 other Greenpeace activists for hanging a 2300 square foot banner on the face of Mount Rushmore.
...
The actions at Rushmore and across Italy are meant to put some heat on Obama and world leaders – and create political space and broader awareness to the urgency and seriousness of the climate crisis. Already, we were the #4 story on CNN, the lead story on Yahoo.com, and featured in Newsweek, Guardian UK, Fox, NBC, Washington Post, ABC, Daily Kos, Huffington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Christian Science Monitor, and hundreds of more major media outlets. In addition to doing traditional media work – we also had streaming video and photos from multiple perspectives being watched live on the Greenpeace website – with thousands of viewers watching the action in real time. (Yes, we had helmet cams). We were live-blogging while on the ropes, as well as using Twitter and other social networking forums to make sure the world saw our message. All of you were vital in helping this story gain such a huge audience – from posting it on Facebook, telling your friends, and re-Tweeting the story.

Russia scuppers climate change agreement. Either they know it's nonsense, or they want to be warm. Win, win for them. http://bit.ly/19VmQD
Weinstein: Ethanol has role in energy diversification but significance being oversold to Americans | Editorials & Opinions | Star-Telegram.com
More recently, corn-derived ethanol has been heralded as the magic potion that can drive us to the promised land of energy freedom while at the same time slowing global warming and helping America’s farmers. To that end, the ethanol industry is urging Congress to increase the share of ethanol required in gasoline to 15 percent from 10.
