Not only does new clean energy mean new jobs, it also means vastly more jobs across the entire economy. A 2008 report by the University of California at Berkeley found investments in energy efficiency replaced one lost job in the fossil fuel industry with 50 new jobs across the entire economy.

What about the lost jobs because of high-priced energy?

(Not that I believe their figures anyway.)
