Minnesota: Ethanol thirst evaporating
A goal of 1,800 E85 pumps in the state by 2010 looks out of reach. The number of E85 pumps has declined from 360 to 351.[Featured comment on the above article]
...
In May, about 1.5 million gallons of E85 were sold -- almost 1 million gallons less than in May 2008.
E 85 is a total scam
They never publicize that the mileage is a great deal lower than regular gas. I drove from St. Cloud to Grand Forks in a State of Minnesota E 85 vehicle and I couldn't believe that I had to fill the car twice during the round trip. You could almost watch the gas needle go down.
