Snow and ice conditions change considerably from month to month, and from year to year. Can Thirsk really remember exactly what he saw on the same date 13 years ago, and if he can, can we attribute any differences to trace amounts of carbon dioxide?

By the way, I visited a kindergarten classroom not long ago. Maybe it's just a perception, but the chairs seemed to be much smaller than I remember from my own kindergarten days.
