Sweden: Let's restructure the entire European economy based on our alleged belief in the greatest scientific fraud in human history?
A report by the Stockholm Environment Institute, entitled 'A European Eco-efficient Economy', will provide a basis for discussions during an informal meeting of energy and environment ministers in Åre on 23–25 July.

The report argues that Europe’s leadership is "primarily evident" in its climate change commitments. But in order to continue attracting investment and businesses, greater efforts must be made to promote innovation and energy efficiency, it added.
AFP: China blasts [insane Waxman-Markey climate swindle bill]
BEIJING (AFP) — China said on Thursday that it was "firmly" opposed to provisions in a new US clean energy bill that will make it easier to impose trade penalties on nations that reject limits to globe-warming pollution.

"China is firmly opposed to such measures," vice foreign minister He Yafei told reporters in Beijing.

"We are firmly against such attempts to advance trade protectionism under the pretext of climate change. It is not conducive to world economic recovery. It serves nobody's interests."
Cap and trade is another big tax | Colorado State Senator Kevin Lundberg
On Friday, June 26, 2009, the U.S. House passed the president’s Cap and Trade legislation. This policy will cost the American people dearly, in energy prices, in lost jobs, in hobbling an already faltering economy.

Congress and the President are rushing in, ostensibly to do something about anthropogenic carbon dioxide. Never mind the fact that the more the details are examined, the weaker the arguments get for blaming any possible global warming on man-made carbon dioxide. None-the-less, they are still willing to gamble our nation’s future with this risky political policy.

At its fundamental base, Cap and Trade is one more huge federal power grab. This time it is not a specific industry, or a particular business, instead it is a crippling new tax, cutting across all sectors of our culture.
