U.S. and China sign [meaningless] memorandum on climate change [hoax] | Reuters
WASHINGTON, July 28 (Reuters) - The United States and China, the world's largest emitters of greenhouse gases, signed an agreement on Tuesday that promises more cooperation on climate change, energy and the environment.Major New Report: Human Influences, The Sun, Volcanic Activity and El Niño ALL Affect Climate
Whether or not the report is correct about the next 5 years, I think it is important that mainstream scientists are now admitting that climate is affected by the 3 natural conditions of the sun, volcanism and the southern oscillation, as well as human influences.Corporate contributions to fight global warming or sell their solutions?
The study did not look at the affect of magnetic fields or cosmic particles on the Earth’s climate. Future studies should examine these as well, to either rule them out as having an insignificant affect on climate, or else quantifying their impact.
Yesterday I wrote about how the makers of windmills and solar power panels (principally GE) and paper products and even coal miners contribute to environmental organisations.
I'm concerned about this because I don't believe that windmills and solar power are the 'winning' solution for alternatives to coal for energy generation. I think that some sources that have been neglected (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion and Space Based Solar Power), some solutions that have been vilified (nuclear) and some solutions that are just beginning to be explored will be given short shrift as we commit to hugely expensive, ineffective and land consuming arrays of windmills and solar panels.
